چکیده

The behaviour of concrete structures when exposed to fire is essential because represents an excessive loading and critical structural case for any structure. This paper discusses the adopted procedure modelling simulation beams that experimentally tested in lab. Through using ABAQUS program, a finite model lightweight reinforced was carried out under realistic circumstances. 14 Beam specimens with high strength types, before after firing up 600°C, improvement SIFCON jacketing technique, were simulated compared experimental results. For both displacement at mid span maximum load carrying capacity specimens, absolute error between numerical values determined. From results, it can be seen minimum determined specimens’ about 0.521% 15.61%, respectively. on other side, corresponded max 0.42% 11.42%, accordingly, since estimated errors less than 15%, said performed process accurate successful researchers’ studies. As result, found there agreement practical theoretical findings study, helpful tool predicting failure event occurrence provided.

An Experimental Study on Shear Strengthening of RC Lightweight Deep Beams Using CFRP

. This paper presents the results of an experimental investigation on shear strength enhancement of reinforced concrete deep beams externally reinforced with fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) composites. A total of six deep beam specimens of two different classes, as-built (unstrengthened) and retrofitted were tested in the experimental evaluation program. Two composite systems namely carbon/epoxy...

Strut-and-Tie Method for Prediction of Ultimate Shear Capacity of Shear-Strengthened RC deep beams with FRP

The main objective of this study is to propose the Strut-and-Tie method (STM) to predict the shear capacity of simply supported RC deep beams shear-strengthened with carbon fiber reinforced polymers (CFRP). It is assumed that, the total carried shear force by shear-strengthened RC deep beam provided by three independent resistance, namely diagonal concrete strut due to Strut-and-tie mechanism, ...
